We say that small changes lead to a big impact, and renewable energy has helped make a positive environmental impact on our planet. In 2019, together with over 5,000 customers, Stream has helped make our planet a greener place with eco+, a renewable add-on that upgrades any qualifying energy plan. Stream purchased 1,000 kWh of renewable energy every month for each of those customers to offset all or a portion of their carbon footprint.

So how much was that impact? In total, Stream purchased more than 60 million kWh of renewable energy on behalf of our customers. That’s enough energy to power 25,532 homes in Texas for a whole year!

Those numbers are simply from customers who have upgraded their existing plans. And the number goes even higher when you add in our 100% renewable energy Green & Clean plan! A huge thank-you goes out to our customers for helping us protect our planet from harmful fossil fuels and lessen the strain on the power grid.

We believe in a brighter future for our planet, and we know that the future is energy that comes from renewable resources like wind, solar, hydro and biomass. Our Stream Green initiative promotes conservation and gives our customers easy access to responsible green energy options.
